As an Approved Volunteer, you are the backbone of our fundraising and community awareness campaigns as well as the workforce to assist the foundation in any way possible. Without you, our foundations would not be able to function in a meaningful capacity.

Approved Volunteers that maintain good standings may request to become a Regular Member By submitting a written request to the Membership Administrator. Requests will be reviewed by the Administrator, President and Vice President. A determination will be made as to whether or not the request is granted. If granted, the request to become a Regular Member will be voted upon at the next scheduled business meeting. A majority "Yes Vote" must be received in order for the Approved Volunteer to become a Regular Member at which time Regular Membership requirements will begin.

Note: Approved Volunteers may not vote at the monthly business meetings and are not eligible for Life Membership.

Requirements:

• Complete and submit an Approved Volunteer Membership Application.
• When notified by the SNPF via email, complete the background check request form and submit it within 10 days of the notification.
• Pass the general background check.
• At the next monthly business meeting, after the application has been submitted, applicants must receive a majority "YES VOTE" to become an Approved Volunteer.
• Must attend a minimum of Two (2) business (zoom) meetings in a 12 month period
• Must volunteer a minimum of 25 hours in a 12 month period. Ten (10) of these hours must be volunteering at our community awareness tent events.
• Must volunteer at two (2) major foundation events a minimum of 6 hours at each.: in a 12 month period.
• Must adhere to the SNPF's (COC) Code of Conduct and the SNPF Privacy Policies at all times.
• Maintain strict confidentiality concerning all SNPF matters, internal or external.
• Must maintain an accurate profile containing up to date information, ie current cell phone number, email address, and mailing address.
• Acknowledge you will be receiving (sms) text messages from the SNPF for communications purposes.



Approved Volunteers are urged to participate in as many SNPF functions as possible. This includes working on committees, setting up or breaking down at events, etc.
